Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Yeel V.O.F. (“WorldFeedMonitor,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our website, API, and related services (the “Service”). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
We aggregate publicly available news feeds; this policy concerns the personal data of our customers and website visitors, not the content of the news articles we index.

Data we collect
Information you provide
- Account & billing details: company name, contact name, email address, phone number, postal address, VAT number, and website, where provided when you register or manage your account.
- Credentials: your password, which is stored only as a secure cryptographic hash, and API credentials associated with your account.
- Payment information: payment information is processed by our payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Communications: messages and other information you provide when contacting us for support, feedback, or other enquiries.
Information collected automatically
- Service usage data: API requests, endpoints called, timestamps, request volumes, plan usage, the search parameters and keywords submitted with API queries, and related operational information necessary to provide, secure, monitor, and improve the Service.
- Technical and security data: IP addresses, browser and device information, and server or application log data. IP addresses may be processed to serve requests, protect the Service, detect abuse, and investigate technical or security incidents. They may appear in short-lived operational logs.
- Website analytics: we use Pirsch Analytics to understand how our website and documentation are used. This may include visited pages, referrer information, campaign parameters, approximate location, browser, device type, operating system, language, and visit timestamps. Pirsch does not store visitors’ IP addresses and does not use cookies to identify or track visitors.
- Essential browser storage: where necessary, we may use strictly necessary cookies or similar browser storage for functions such as authentication, security, and session management. These technologies are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

How we use data
- To provide, operate, authenticate, and maintain the Service;
- To process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud;
- To enforce rate limits and plan allowances, and to monitor and improve performance and security;
- To analyse how the Service is used in aggregate, including which endpoints and searches are most common, so that we can improve coverage, relevance, and features;
- To respond to your requests and provide customer support;
- To send service, security, and billing communications, and—where permitted—product updates you may opt out of;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
Legal bases
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you signed up for), legitimate interests (to secure, improve, and market the Service in a proportionate way), consent (for non-essential cookies and optional marketing, which you may withdraw), and legal obligation (for example, tax and accounting records).
International data transfers
Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable data protection law. Depending on the provider and processing activity, these safeguards may include an adequacy decision, participation in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Our hosting and website analytics infrastructure is primarily located within the European Union. Certain service providers, including payment processing, email delivery, and artificial intelligence services, may process data in other jurisdictions in accordance with the safeguards described above.
Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to provide and secure the Services, and to comply with our legal obligations.
Unless a longer retention period is required by law or necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims, we apply the following retention periods:
- Account and profile data: for as long as your account remains active and for up to 12 months after the account is closed.
- API credentials and access data: for as long as required to provide the Services. Revoked or deleted credentials are removed or rendered unusable when they are no longer required.
- API request, search query, application, security, and diagnostic logs: generally retained for up to 90 days. Relevant records may be retained for longer where necessary to investigate security incidents, abuse, fraud, or technical problems.
- Feedback and support communications: retained for up to 24 months after the relevant request or conversation has been resolved, unless continued retention is reasonably necessary.
- Website analytics data: retained in accordance with our configured retention period with Pirsch Analytics and used for aggregated website and service usage analysis.
- Billing, invoice, and other records required for our financial administration: retained for at least 7 years where required by Dutch tax and accounting law.
- Backups: personal data contained in backups may remain until the relevant backup is automatically overwritten or deleted in accordance with our backup retention schedule.
After the applicable retention period expires, personal data is deleted or anonymised unless we are legally required or otherwise permitted to retain it for a longer period.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Where the GDPR applies, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords and secrets, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your credentials confidential and notify us of any suspected breach at security@worldfeedmonitor.com.
Children
The Service is not directed to children and is intended for business use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be signalled by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
